Cascade Mountain Ranch Amenities
Linens, towels, dishes, cooking and serving ware are included. Bath facilities have high recovery hot water systems. There is limited laundry access. Outside lighting around the lodges offers "evening-out" comfort. Pianos are available in both lodges. Wi-Fi is available in the Cascade Lodge only. Direct TV, DVDs and VCRs are located in both lodges (bring your own movies). Lodges are accented with libraries. Bedrooms are air-conditioned and carpeted. Fire-King wood stoves are the perfect way to relax on cooler days. No Pets. The Rec Center has an upstairs game room with ping-pong, foosball, air hockey and a theater lounge. The nearby bike shed has 30 bicycles available for guests to use on the Ranch roads and paths. We have bikes for all ages ... toddlers to adults. There is a 6,000 square foot activity deck with deck house and gazebo on Mt. Mist Lake. The tranquil natural setting is the ideal outdoor location for weddings, receptions, training sessions, and family Barbeques. Read more Basketball and tennis courts are fenced and located near the central bathrooms. These bathrooms are in the center of the Ranch, near the Activity Deck and outdoor courts for the convenience of guests. They are especially convenient for large events or weddings on the Activity Deck. The sand volleyball court (coming in 2015) will be located near the central walking paths by the play area. The play area is a small space for younger children. We provide basketballs, volleyballs, badminton, and ping pong equipment , but encourage you to bring your own tennis racquets. The stock barnyard or pasture is available for guests to visit the llamas. They are quite friendly and curious, and are likely to arrive on the scene. Please speak with the Ranch Director before feeding the llamas as there are certain foods that can be harmful to them. Feel free to swim in either of our lakes. Our lower lake is a year-round, spring-fed lake that is available for fishermen. It is a catch and release program for recreational fishing only and is home to bass and blue gill. The lake has a small island that is home to wild geese that nest there each spring. Bring your own fishing gear and no permit is required since it is private property. Cascade Mountain Ranch has 2 RV sites available for guests. These sites are available for family members or guests who prefer the comforts of their own RVs or simply to be outdoors. These sites are not available except in combination with use of other Cascade Mountain Ranch facilities. Cascade Mountain Ranch is a 50-acre ranch surrounded by wilderness lands. It is nestled in its own private valley. Hiking/walking trails lead you throughout the ranch. The mountains rise on all sides, accented by Grand King Mt. Ridge to the East. One can hike to the Lucky Queen Mines or enjoy the view with pine, fir, madrone, oak and cedar trees lacing the entire panorama. Deer, wild turkeys, geese, peacocks, squirrels and, on rare occasions, elk can be seen roaming the Ranch. Cascade Mountain Ranch has 225 matching chairs, 35+ tables, an ice machine, and barbecues. Cell phones generally work at the Ranch, depending on your service provider and where you stand.
